The film is produced by her close friend, Shabina Khan and director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali . Kareena is in talks with Bhansali for Bajirao Mastani. Kareena shot with Akshay Kumar on a set decorated with several diwali lamps. The song was choreography by Vishnudeva (Rowdy Rathore, Ram Leela ) and composed by Sajid-Wajid.
